Why attend therapy?
Sometimes we need someone outside of ourselves to help guide and direct us; an objective voice that can speak into our situation. Clients experience benefits in their relationships, work, faith, and mood when attending therapy. Therapy is a space for you to experience clarity and healing in various areas of your life.
What therapeutic modalities do you use?
I use an eclectic mix of therapeutic interventions that include; person centered therapy, experiential, cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, restoration therapy, and emotionally focused therapy as well as play therapy.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Generally speaking I offer a free consultation done over the phone. I use this time to get to know you and what brings you into therapy. This is also a great time for you to ask any questions regarding therapy or my style and see if we are a fit.
Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately I do not, but I can put together a super bill at request for your insurance. I would also be happy to investigate if your insurance might reimburse.
Do I have to be a Christian to see you?
No you do not, I respect where each client is at spiritually in their respective faith journeys. I have experience with clients that have a multitude of faith backgrounds.
How long does a session last?
About 50 minutes. I see most clients 1-2 times a week depending on need, we can discuss what works best with your schedule.
What is the cost of a therapy session?
I work along a sliding scale. My full fee is 150.00. If finances are an issue for you, lets discuss further. I do offer a discount for students that are currently attending school and people working in ministry.
Who do you work with?
I work with children age 5 and up, teens, young adults, adults, and the elderly.
